Electronic

Without the advent of electronics, our society would be nowhere near as connected as we are today. During this period in history, electronic devices allow for many of us to communicate with each other, entertain, and in some cases stay alive. There would be no virtual music festivals without electronics.

The word "electronic" meant something different than what we know it to be today back in the early 1900s. Instead of "pertaining to electrons", it now means "pertaining to electronics".
