The shift from the physical events we know and love to the online events we are unfamiliar with is something many have struggled to come to terms with during this period of time. Most of life is now virtual, and the internet has transformed the way we communicate and connect with each other.

Most music festivals are now virtual, meaning they happen in an online environment where you connect with others using web based communication systems.

The word virtual comes from the Latin word "virtus", meaning "excellence, potency, efficiency". In the 1950's, "virtual" took on a more computer related role, meaning "not physically existing".
